No, that is much too small for any of the commonly available cham species, and tanks aren't suited for most of them anyway. Tanks have been used for the pygmy or leaf chams, but they are not what I would call beginner species. They are very small, almost all imports with health issues, they can be very difficult to treat for any problems, and have a very short life span (most of the imports caught are adults and their life may be almost over by the time you get them). The more common species like veileds, panthers, or jackson's won't do well in a tank unless it is huge (minimum 24" on a side and at least 48" tall) and has special ventilation or air exchange designed into it. Keepers in Europe have had more luck using tanks, but again yours is just not big enough.
