There are plenty of good roads and areas around there. Find a quiet road that goes out into the desert or up into the mountains and drive it at night.
I have hunted the Eagle Eye road (that goes south out of Aguila) and lots of people have hunted the road that goes north out of Wenden to Alamo lake. However that road would be busy on a holiday weekend.

Did you see much when you were out there? Thanks for the reply.
I have been there a couple of times, but never later than July. I have seen as much as 100 snakes in a few nights. It can be really productive on a good night.
You might also try Vulture Mine road. It is close and looks like it might be quiet enough.

Not only holiday weekend but dove season opens Sept 1 (Fri)
I was there about a month and a half ago. One of the locals told me about Vulture Mine. I didn't have time to really check it out too good, but I did drive there and see the place. It looked awesome, lots of ravines. Wish I would have had more time.
Thanks again for the advice. It is much appreciated.
