Annulatas: the ultimate burrower?

happycamper Aug 29, 2006 10:54 PM

My female Hogg County Tex-Mex can split a plain of sand like the red sea! I have seen other milks and kings spread dirt but this gal here is a real sandworm. She can slip into a slab of sod like mercury. It's like having a nightcrawler for a pet. Sorry no picture, I'll have to send that soon. Anybody else got milks that dig?

ps...I think Chris H sold me her at an expo in SA

Annulatas are amazing burrowers in captivity. They are happy to hardly show themselves much of the time.

In the field, if they scurry off the roads into the terrain, you will might as well forget about finding them.
