Incubation times

I have had limited success breeding graybanded kings - perhaps twenty or so hatchlings in the last several years. I believe something uncommon is happening with one of our clutches this year, and I am seeking for guidance from those who are more experienced. One clutch of thirteen (from a very large female),laid about the 10th of June, has yet to pip. When I transilliminate these eggs, I can see minor movement within the them which leads me to believe that they have not died, although admittedly 80 days seems to me to be way too long. During the first two months of the incubation I kept the eggs at about 72-76 degrees. Did the lower temps exert a negative influence on development and slow down the growth process in the eggs? Since then I have increased the temps to a range of 80-90. The second clutch of six Junos are all good-looking eggs and were laid on July 1st. I expect them to pip sometime in the first week of September. Any suggestions or guidance would be very much appreciated.

Thanks for your time,

Marlon

Even with the low temps 80 days seems long to me.. Although, i always incubate around 80 degrees and eggs hatch in about 56 to 58 days... Please keep us posted on theprogress of the clutch..
