I faced the same situation a short while ago. My suggestion is you tell them that it is a lizard. I called UPS's main office and they told me that they would ship any cold blooded animal except snakes. I asked him if I claimed my snake to be a *ahem* legless lizard if that would work, his response after a short pause was.. No one would be the wiser...
