Thanks. I don't know it it has been producing very well. Since Gerald's catch in July I only know of mine and one other Davis, but there could have been more, I don't know about. I did see much better numbers of other snakes though. Leps, blacktails and baird's were moving well and there was also a celaenops caught while I was there.

Nice snake Aaron. Now I suppose you'll be spending some extra time out west to pair it up.

I believe this is Aaron's 2nd Obs male . . . for some reason, that place seems to produce more males than females, over and above the 3:1 sex ratio that we've come to expect most places.

That's correct Troy. Shannon and I caught a male in 2003 and was really hoping for a female. I heard there was a guy who caught 13 male or something like that before he caught a female.
I am very happy to have caught this snake but I hope I don't have to catch that many males before I catch a female.

Way to go Aaron! Good to see you again this year. Maybe on your next trip out, you can take us out to see your property in the DMR.

Thanks Doug. Dinner at the Holland with you, Nancy, Jon and the Frasers was fun. And yes, one of these days we will get out to the DMR.
