help black growth on my monitor

phantompoo Aug 30, 2006 09:46 AM

Several weeks ago i noticed one of my ackies had a growth on its neck that looked like a "black wart" which ended up going away. now
a different ackie has a similar growth on its hand which seems to be causing severe swelling. does anyone know what this is or what to do and how worried i should be

I don't know what others think, but I do know, I did not respond because I have no idea what that black growth could be.

I mean, it could be a lot of things, to many different things to even try to respond to.

I also know this, any growth is on the skin is not a good thing or a normal thing. Take the ackie to a vet and find out what it is. And I hope it goes away and you do not have to find out what it is. Cheers

my second post was meant to be kind of a joke/kidding, but in
retrospect it sounds a bit poopyheaded....sorry about that

btw, whatever the black growths were, they scabbed up and fell off and the critters seem to be doing quite.

thx for takin the time FR
