Any canary chondros on the market?

BryanD Aug 30, 2006 11:29 AM

A while ago there were a ton of them in the classifieds, but I don't see any at all now.

If any of you were lucky enough to get some, how well did they fare in captivity?

They are all W/C animals, so many factors come in to play. Who you get it from, the condition of the animalfand good ol' fashion luck to name a few.

Right now there have been 3 cbb clutches from canary x canary chondros.

So you might want to hold your horses if you dont want to take a risk.

I guess it all depends on whether people start asking silly prices for cb canaries... I've been in the biz for long enough (15 years) that I'd confidently take a gamble on a wc chondros, but I don't think I'd drop more than a grand on any gtp, period. I hope I haven't missed the boat on these guys on a working man's salary

If anyone has one available for a reasonable price, I'd be interested.

I'm gussing you wont see cbb kaifu under 1k for awhile. There was a dicussion on MVF about pricing of the these first f1's and it looks like they will fetch between 2 and 3 grand.
