mexican king snake feeding help

hi i have a 4ft king snake and have been feeding him 5 large mice a week but i feel that he isnt totally satisfied whats the largest size mouse or rat i could give him? and how often?

If your feeding 5 large mice at a time i would think you could bump up to a small rat... If your snake takes that down with ease and after eating the bump is gone in a couple of days, then go a little bigger..

hi thx for that, at the moment when i feed him 5 large mice it doesnt even make a lump in his body so i will defo try small rats and see how it goes how many should i feed him a week?

Try 2 or 3 DAYAM, that is a lot of food for a 4' king in my opinion. I know they will eat that much but is it good for him? Does he get any excercise? heat gradient? Just my opinion, I have more lean snakes only one fatty sausage female speck!
