First time breeder question.

hedo Aug 31, 2006 04:05 AM

I hope to breed my '04 8' Tiger Albino for the first time this year. I have several females for him to breed with but there is one female in particular that I really want him to breed with. I have heard that first time males may not get the job done. Is there anything I can do increase my odds that he does get the job done? Would it be better to put him with the other females first to "practice" (practice makes perfect right?) or should I put him in with the female I want him to breed to first? Any thoughts or opinions would be appreciated.

I would limit the amount of females you put him with if you're hopeing to make a particular pairing work. Also I would keep them together untill there is no more intrest, separate for 3-7 days and reintroduce them a couple times to make sure the deed is done.
