Strange behaviour?!!!

Hi Guys,

Just after an insight on why my beardie's doing what he's doing.

Every now and then, he rubs his nose on the glass in the viv, then seems to push at it as if he's trying to get out.

I thought it maybe that he's due to shed and he's trying to loosen then skin on his face, but why does he push at the glass too? If he is in shed, do u think I should put a rock in or summat for him to rub on?

Seems to be really healthy in himself. Eats and poops regularly, and LOVES his greens!!! Although it looks like a bombs hit after he's had a good scrat around in his salad bowl. Greens end up everywhere, and yep..... Mam gets to clean it up.
It's like having a kid!!! :OD

Can I just add that its great that u guys are so enthusiastic about beardies and this forum is GREAT for advice and tips and a bit banter. The forum I went on for UK keepers is completley dead, which is such a shame, so.... thanx for being here you lot overseas!!! :OD

Speak soon!!

It sounds like hes just doing "the dragon dance". they will kinda stand up on the glass, and run back and forth in effort to try to get out at times. Maybe hungry, maybe wants more room, or may he just sees something he wants to check out. ALOT of dragons will do it and its not something to really worry about aslong as hes eatting well, not injuring himself, and in a cage large enough.
