Hi all, I am new here. Am not new to Uros as I have had a pair of benti since Daytona 2001. I purchased a baby ornate at the Daytona show 2 weeks ago. Have come here to glean more info/re-research the new species.
I thought I might show off my Daytona pics even tho there are not too many of the actual show in the bunch! Interesting way of introducing myself

Do you still have the iguanas? Have not seen you on the Cyclura forum lately. I got some uromastyx now also. Moroccan, geyri and ornate. How have you been? Tom
Lindsay Pike? If so those were some that I bred a few years ago. If she got them from Rob Nimmo he perchased his breeders from me at least 6 years ago as cb babies. Here is the Grand dad of the ones from Rob.
Hi again, Kathryn did get the red tail adult pair from Lindsay. They are beautiful animals. She also got a red-backed baby from someone else but not sure who. So you bred them? Can I give her your email to contact you? Perhaps she has it already tho. I will definitely mention that you bred them.

She used to live in MI and got a good job in Miami I guess. She used to breed a ton of Beardeds. I don't think she knows me but I used to talk to her at the local shows. She is a nice lady.
Hi Tom! yes I still have all my iguanas. They are doing quite well as a matter of fact. That cyclura forum is pretty dead lately. Not much happening out there I guess.
How are the geyri and moroccans as far as personality goes? I have the benti and they are mad skittish. The male hates me I am pretty sure. I clean around him and never attempt to pick him up. Just my presence in the room makes him nervous I think.

until now has been a beast. The five I have now are pretty calm and even allow handling. The geyri are pretty skittish. The ornates are like beardeds though.
