Sorry about the crap pic it isnt easy to get them to hold still.
I have 4 bairdi hatchlings with heads that just look to big for there bodies. These are my first bairdi hatchlings and dont know if this is normal.Ive never had corns, balls, etc come out like this. You can see 4 in the pic and the normal one on the left.
Any comments welcome.

Yeah, that's kind of strange.
Can we get some better shots?
I certainly looks like defensive head flattening, but mine never do it. If that is their permanent state, there may be a problem.

I had some similar issues with my clutch of yellows that hatched out about a month ago. I had 11 eggs, 8 hatched, but only two were perfecty normal. 2 of them were so badly deformed, they had to be euthanized immediately. The other 4 have varying degrees of spinal bumps and I think the two that have the worst deformities both have enlarged heads as well. I will try and get some pics up this evening or over the weekend. The good news is, even the one with the worst deformities (so bad I almost euthanized it) has eaten for me. It also seems to be straightening out a bit. It will be interesting to see if the little ones with the big heads and spinal bumps eventually outgrow it, or most of it. Keep us updated on your little ones too.

I dont have any problems with kinks. All the bighead guys were the first to shed and eat.Ive examined there mouths and they all look fine.It just kind of tripped me out a little.Im going to keep the bigheads to see how they turn out as adults.Thank you for your reply.

If lead paint is so deadly why do they make it so delicious?
