I believe calligaster(prairie) to be diurnal as well

I've seen Eastern Kings out early in the morning and evening, after a rain, along trails. That would be classified as crepuscular. Even though they are classified as nocturnal, I think it varies, depending on their needs.

I would consider the black kingsnake to be diurnal. Like many snakes they may take the occasional late evening foray on warm summer nights, especially after rain events.

Most getula will be active in the day attimes and in areas whether the temperatures allow it.

Arizona Mtn Kings are almost entirely diurnal. It is probably the most diurnal of the kingsnakes.

Some of the mexican kingsnakes are diurnal as well, particularly those from higher elevations (e.g. greeri)

Are the snakes you mentioned diurnal in captivity as well? Do you see Arizona Mt. Kings out and about much in captivity?

Adult Florida kings are primarily diurnal, while juveniles seem to be primarily nocturnal.
