New Baby Ball when to feed

evinrudesmom Aug 31, 2006 05:54 PM

I just got a baby ball at an expo in Maine. When would be a good time to offer her a mouse. I want her to get acclimated to her surroundings but what amount of time is good? Any advice would greatly be appreciated. Thanks

im having the same problems. except mine are about 3 months. the best thing to do is to let it settle in and get used to it's surroundingsand feed it at night.

You can try and feed when ever. They will eat or they won't. I've had new babies feed the same night i bring them home and i've had babies go 10 days from the time i brought them home. I always offer smaller size meals then they would normally eat. Good luck with your new guys!

I know you wouldn't think they would,but...some do it,I'm sure it will eat for him .And i find most like small mice instead of rat pups.
