Marble Female Pics...

mturner01 Aug 31, 2006 07:26 PM

I think these are one of the most underrated short-tail morphs. They have such a nice blend of earthy colors. Has anyone bred these into the Ultra-breits stuff yet?? This is a yearling female.

Very nice marbles you've got. Definately a very underrated morph. I know some of the big producers of these are slowing down production for awhile so these will be hard to come by in the next few years. I know McPeak has crossed the ultras and marbles, but I don't think he has produced an ultra that is a marble as well though. This might give you a little idea of what one would look like... or just confuse you more ( I know it has me lol). It will be interesting to see which traits end up showing up, the ultra gene could cross out the marble all together.. or this could be a super stripe, marbled, ultra? Who knows...

I completely agree. Aside from the ivories, these are definitely my favorite blood morph. Gorgeous pair you've got there!

Very nice marble, was that one on the kingsnake classifieds as a ch.I would have bought if I had the room but I've been trying to down size the collection as it is, but definately a smoker. Here's a pic of one of my marbles.Hopefully I'll be able to breed them early in the new year.Marble to marble should throw some crazy stuff. This is my female, she has the better marble look and my male has the better granite almost solid sides.

I almost pulled the trigger on a pair in Daytona. Nice looking Marbles Matt! Try crossing them with the Ultra too. Something CRAZIER might even pop out. Who knows...
