i bought 10 bags of texas topsoil for my nile monitor and was wondering if it would be okay for my bp's. it seems like a mixture of sand and soil and has a real soft texture. thanks

The problem is….. that sand is gritty and could get inhaled or in between the scales of the snake. Also, I don’t know much about sand/soil when it comes to humidity. Yea, it looks nice but the humidity is a BIG factor for these guys. For some snakes its ok because they burrow in sand etc. but for others its not safe. Hope this helps!
