Here comes Ernesto! This will be my first BIG storm. I'm from California, where it only rains one day a year. LOL! I hope we don't lose our power or I'll have a room full of hot/cold herps!
I'm more worried about high heat and no A/C. Wish us all luck!

I hear ya Phil. Here in Va. I don't think high winds will be an issue, but they are calling for this storm to dump massive amounts of rain on us. So much for our summer drought.

good luck , that storm went through Florida with ZERO ferocity Thank goodness, but remember the storm born in the Bahamas Katrina went over s. Fl. as only a cat. 1 hurricane and the rest is HISTORY after it re-entered the Gulf. be safe.Chris

I was in the outer banks and had two days set aside to look for and photo outer banks kings but of course I was rained out when the storm hit!!
