My boyfriend won't be pleased if he see's it, but at the time it was HILARIOUS.

I was getting ready to feed my large female, who recently moved to my house from the boyfriends. I put her in a feeding tub (her tank is awkward, and it's just easier to feed her in the tub).

While she's in the tub, DH was beating the rat right next to her. Evidently she was hungrier than I thought because she came right out the top of the tub at him.

So what does he do? He swats at her! Probably the stupidest thing he could do. And she lunged again. I came to his rescue with the snake hook, and explained to him that all of his swatting just looked like moving food. lol.

Now he knows to prepare dinner in the other room.

...I read your post 3 times, but couldn't decipher the "he" "she" and DH. Can you explain who/what "DH" is, and what was swatting at what?...I don't know...maybe I'm just stupid! thanks.

I think the boyfriend is the "DH" d**khead I assume. he was swatting at the snake making the snake strike more? Thats how I took it.

Beating the rat. What the heck is that? Is that similar to choking the chicken?

lol, sorry about that. I've been a little loopy on meds lately.

DH = dear hubby (although d*ckhead is sometimes more accurate).

The snake is a she, the he would be the DH. He was killing her rat, and he swatted at her because she lunged at him, making her lunge at him more.
