UV LIGHTING NECESSARY

hey everyone, we were just wondering if uv light is necessary for a savannah monitor? i've heard different opinions from everyone so ya'll tell me what you think

different people will say different things, but one thing UV does do is provide the break down and use of vitamin D. I don't use UV, but I supplement all my food sources with a little more Vit. D. May not be all that important, but better safe than sorry. Just my 2cents.
