I want you all to meet "Beauty's Baby",a 35 month old Eastern, raised from egg. I am relatively new to this forum, although I have read the messages, several times a week, for several years. "Beauty" was an exhausted, heat-stressed intersection rescue in June 2003, who layed 3 eggs the end of July (this was the only one fertile). "Beauty" unfortunately escaped from my outdoor enclosure late September that same year.
"Beauty's Baby" has been kept indoors, but will probably move to the outdoor pen sometime next year.
