Hey thanks Tim,
At least for me, the stephensi are easier to get onto mice than the pyrrhus are/were. This seems surprising as the stephensi are smaller than the pyrrhus are at birth. I'm leaving them altogether for right now with their mom, ala HKM, to see if there is any behavior associated with previously witnessed maternal care.
I have observed what appeared to be maternal care or concern with female atrox and their newborn litter. They aren't aggressive but very curious when I open the cage to either count or remove the babies.
