Good news, I think

onthefly Sep 01, 2006 08:05 PM

To day when I got home I force fed my sick male Collared lizard three Wax Worms and gave him some water, I handled him a little, then put him back in the cage, I looked in the cage a few minutes later and he had up chucked the worms, along with two crickets that we had eaten on his won, so I guess I will force feed him less and give him more to eat, is that what I do at this time???

Thanks Cecil

i don't know whether to say it is good or not. that doesn't seem like much food to make him throw it up. i know they eat less when they don't feel good, but just watch him eat and make sure he isn't still throwing up

Well at least he has an appetite and the energy to catch the crickets

Thanks, that's what I think, and yesterday his poop was almost normal, the white and brown parts were seperate, all though the brown was irregular, before it was all just runny goo with no seperation if there was any at all. He's still very skinny and boney but for the first time I think we may pull though
