dragon eggs

Hey just a real quick question my beardie laid eggs yesterday and i was wondering if they have a smell to them when in the incubator. This is my first clutch and my girls and i candeled the eggs and put them in the incubator oval side up. JUst wondering.

Eggs shouldn't have much of a smell to them at all. If they are starting to really stink, they are probably bad. A little mustiness is fine as well.

When you say oval side up I hope you didn't place them in the incubator like you would chicken eggs in an egg crate. The eggs should be oriented the same way they were laid by the female. If they are turned around it could drown the embroyal, especially if the egg has been sitting for several hours before being moved.
