Mex Mex.....

mrogers Sep 01, 2006 10:51 PM

I know alot of us on this forum have thayeri, but who out there has mex mex? I just got started with them last year. I hope to have some breeding size by next. I was just wanting to see how many keepers of them are on the forum.
thanks in advance.

I have a nice 3.4 group of mex mex but only 2.1 are adults. I got 8 eggs this year which are hatching now but I have not counted how many are out yet.
My favorites are actually 1)greeri, 2)mex mex & 3)thayeri.

I have 3.7, waiting on a special male. 1.1 are young adults, breedable next season. I nearly sold my small mex mex collection a little over a year ago, but they grabbed me after a while and I can't let go and have added to them. Great snakes! I would love to see more interest. I am also fond of greeri but I sold my small group last year, babies and all to make room for growing thayeri and I miss having them. They are also a great snake to have around, very gentle temperments also. I expect to have a few more one day I enjoyed them so much.

I love what you did with that picture. Your mex mex are all beautiful, I would also like to get some greeri, I have never owned any and I find them hard to find.
thank you for the pic.

Hey thanks Michelle, kingsnake photo art is sometning I like to have fun with in my spare time.

Nice normal greeri do seem to be hard to find and I should have kept a few. I wanted to keep one of my adult females and one of her baby girls I held for a year, shortly after selling them all I found what would have been a perfect male for the girls. I still regret selling them but at the time I desperately needed space and my interest in mex mex was growing quickly. I made the right decision though, I enjoy the mex mex a little more!

Just a little.
