Another C. vestigium youngin hatched

PHEve Sep 02, 2006 11:08 AM

Heres a brand spankin new youngster Just hatched today. Such a chunky lil baby!

I am thrilled this season as this is my third C. vestigium hatchling to hatch. As other breeders will tell you, ya don't get many of these beautiful creatures, they are much more difficult than Collaris.

The first 2 kids hatched in July, they were a bit small when they hatched but are doing nicely. One baby will go to Ray, the person I orginally bought my pair from about 3 years or so ago. He will leave in a couple weeks. BUT for anyone else who has asked..........

I will be "KEEPING" all kids as to re-assure the continuation of my Vestigium group, and may add new blood along the way as well.
I just love and admire the species, and am not in it for any profit they are AWESOME.

Wow, that's a very healthy looking baby. Usually all hatchlings look alike, but that one looks like a male. It's sibling hatched in July, was that cracker?

Chuparosa, or Chupa for short figured his/her Mommy (Chia) is also named after a desert wildflower.

Thanks guys, always a happy thing when they hatch and are cute and healthy!
