albino nelsoni vs albino ruthveni

lilgemsmice Sep 02, 2006 03:40 PM

I am curious to know if anyone has crossed these 2 albino traits... or has any info on the possibility that they might be allelic? I have some possible het albino thayeri's (that descend from albino ruthveni) and some possible het albino thayeri/nelsoni/cambelli/alterna/etc. I would like to test breed them to determine which ones are definite albino hets, but was wondering if I could shortcut this by breeding one of my known hets (albino gene from nelsoni) to all of the possible hets. I know this is a long shot, but any info would be appreciated. :D

Last year I bred a het Nelson/Thayeri to a albino Ruthveni and got all normal babies.I think if they were allelic I should have gotten atleast one albino, but no dice.
