Help Sexing Desert Tortoises

fit4him Sep 02, 2006 05:50 PM

I would like opinions on the sex of these 3 Desert Tortoises. They are legal captive bred animals and I placed a tennis ball next to them for scale. I'm not exactly sure how old they are. They look like females to me.

one and two males... three possible female. Also judging from the urates on the tail of one you might want to place closer attention to hydration (humid hide and increase watering frequency)

Anyone mind doing these as well? I'm thinking two 6 year old males and the smaller one I think might be female?
