I used to use hot vapor type humidifiers. But in addition to recieving nasty 3rd degree burns from the darn things, one shorted out one day and when I found it it was almost on fire. So I tossed those and got cool mist humidifiers. These have changed a lot since I had last used one in the late 80's and now they operate on sonic waves. The mist that comes out of these is a heavy fog that immediately absorbs into the air. The old type cool mist humidifiers used to work on a spinning disk principal and they would make a big mess. Another plus is that these sonic type cool mist humidifiers don't have to be cleaned as often as the hot vapor types. And lastly, they require a fraction of the electricity to produce WAY more humidity. I have one of these per room, set on the lowest setting and they maintain the rooms between 90 and 99% humidity. The brand I get is called "Reli-On" and they are the 1.5 gallon capacity. I only have to refill them once per day.

It isn't "Ideas" that fail or succeed,... it is the "Systems" which are instilled to launch and sustain the idea that either fail or succeed.>[Me.]
