Today I recieved a call from a old friend who inspired me in the hobby of keeping venomous snakes.
Tom Moxley out of Memphis.
I was introduced to Tom back in 1977 through another "local herper", and he had quite an impressive collection.

I kept up with him through the 80's, albeit, a few phone calls or visits.
Then as the 90's came along, contact was very sporadic.

I heard from him today, and it was quite a reunion, sort of "back in the day", and he is 80 years old and STILL keeps hot's! Mostly crotalids, and a few Bitis!

Holy Cow! I hope I'm NOT keeping hot's when, or if I hit eighty! LOL!
Just kidding, I hope I'm able to keep up with my hobby when I reach 80!
I just thought I would share this with you, just shows another "hot" keeper is "still crazy" after all these years.

I talked to a guy once at the Ladson show in SC. HE said and i am quoting, "I will either die from being shot jumping out of a womans window or from dealing with snakes." He was close to forty at the time. I cant remember which company he worked for but i thought it was quite funny.
