Ok..I've had my ribbon snake for about 2 years, now, and I have some questions.
#1 How can I start my ribbon on mice pinkies??? I've tried scenting them and leaving them in the water container with fish. I've tried putting them outside the water. She just doesn't want to touch them. Help???
#2 I have never overwintered my ribbon snake, but she usually does stop eatting around October and won't eat again till around March. I don't plan to breed her, but I'm wondering, what temperature should I keep her enclosure in if I want to have her go into burmation? Should I have the heat lamp on her at all? Should I change her cage at all during that time? How long should I wait after her last meal before putting her in a cooler area?
