good terrarium plants?

smith710 Sep 03, 2006 12:12 AM

What are some good live plants to put in a terrarium. At the moment I have a bunch of fake plants and some type of fern that I got from a reptile show. What other live plants are good to go in with tree frogs and geckos? High humidity plants.... also where is a good place to get them from????? I have no idea where to get plants for my terrarium.
Thanks

I usually go to my local nursery, you do have to be careful about fertilizers though, especially with frogs. Wash the soil off and leaves and replant in safe soil. Otherwise, BlackJungle sells them for vivs too. I've even gotten things from Home Depot.
