Hi all, first time to this forum, I've been to the cornsnake forum a few times, Lots of neat snakes on both forums, I live on a farm in NW Florida, and there are quite a few native snakes on my place,(this year gray rat (oak) are really abundant) every year I generally catch a few gray rat snakes and keep one thru the summer fatten em up and release em in a food rich environment before fall, tree frogs are always quite plentiful thru summer and they really love em so thats the bulk of their diet, this year I rescued this little guy from the cat along with a 3' corn snake, (still looking for a yellow to get the Florida trifecta) and have since gotten both of em on frozen mice, fuzzies for the gray. both are really nice docile snakes so I'll be keeping these guys pemanently, anyways heres a pic of "skinny" a few months ago, since going to mice hes easily twice that size now, Brian
