Example of selective breeding!!

thebloodcell Sep 03, 2006 12:35 PM

I think Kevin Marter has done a lot for the bloods in a short time. He has some of the reddest adults that he is working with, but he chose to have them for one reason “selective breeding” to try to produce only top notch bloods. Others on this fourm are doing the same thing my self included. Bloods are still very new, they have had a bad wrap for so long hope that will change soon.. Later Ryan Norris T.B.C.

Big country, Both of my adults came from a clutch that Pro Exotics hatched out in 01. They produced them from their own adults that I think were W.C. They only had them one year in 01. So they are totally unrelated to the clowns. Very soon I will have the albinos in this line and hope a surprise or 2.. Ash thanks so much for your support and to everyone else who responded.. Selective breeding will continue to be the goal as the years go by on all herps. Long after the "morphs" phase. This is what will help elevate the reptiles to something more akin to "pet quality". Keep up the good work.

Going to the Tinley show this year? Hope to see everyone.
