Paradox Normal? Reverse Ringer?

PythonJoe Sep 03, 2006 05:19 PM

OK. I've seen paradox albinos with black smudges on them, but haven't seen a normal quite like this before. Let me know if you've seen another quite like this and what you think.
Best regards,
Python Joe

Someone was posting black pieds awhile back, they weren't proven genetic...maybe somebody still has the pics.

Here are mine. I call them Black Pieds for a lack of a better name. Both of mine are CH animals not proven yet...

Hi, Michael.

Thanks for posting your pic. Mine looks almost like newspaper print was rubbed onto its scales in several locations, in addition to the ink blot on its side. Was wondering if yours had this characteristic, too. Also, do you have any belly shots?

I've posted a gallery with more pics of my animal located at:

I've been trying to prove this trait/girl out. She gave me 4 nice babies w/one that looks like it might have the same black pattern as its mom (or maybe just a nice normal w/a peppery black pattern).

I am waiting for it to shed a few times to get a better idea.

If not -I have to decide if its worth breeding one of the offspring back to the mom to fully exclude a genetic trait being present.
