Ok so I'm building 2 - 10 gal. vivariums. One of these is a 10 verticle like I've seen others make.

So my question is what, other than D. pumilio, could I put in it? I was just wondering what my options are.

I am originally making them as practice tanks but I like how it's turning out so far, so I may want to keep it together.

i had a similar problem, i had a 10 hex and didn' know what to put in it. i ended up getting a lauc and an auratus. they've been in there for a while and are doing great. u could put any thumbnail species in. good luck and saurian has good info. on tank sizes, it's really helpful.

I am definatly too much of a beginner when it comes to dart frogs to even think about trying D. pumilio. Leucs are a good beginner, and they will use the whole tank, so maybe I'll try one of those.

leucs are great and they will certainally use the whole tank, i've read books and a lot of the time it says they are terrestrial, but mines always in the upper part of the tank. they appriciate water falls, you could put 2-3 on there, depending on sex. or you could put them in with another species, thats what i did. it's in with an auratus, you might want to think about that too. get the best of both worlds good luck and please contact me if you have any more questions, about making the tank too, cause hex tanks are a pain the *** to make.
