Wow!!! A Sting Ray!!! Who would have thought that???? I always thought if he was going to get it, it would be miles away from anyone by one of those awesome Elapids he was so cavalier with as he tailed them! I always was a little irritated by his brash antics but he was a super voice for conservation throughout the World and he was good at encouraging understanding of the animals he was around. I think he'll be sorely missed. I know I will miss him. Rest in Peace SteveO.

It always seemed like he was way too careless, but I guess I always hoped that was "part of the show". It is really sad this finally happened. I'm sure those that know him will say he would have wanted it that way, but damn....

Sorry to ramble, just kind of in shock.

One of my favorite shows. My thoughts go out to his wife and kids.

He's brought many a laughter to my son and I for many years. . .
He will surely be missed . . . What a loss . . . .

Man,
I'm speechless! I feel really bad for Terry and his two kids.
Bindy Sue is the same age as my oldest daughter, 7, and his son is only 3. There are so many things that he won't be able to share with them. It's definitely a sad day.

A moment of silence for Steve, and a drink for him as well. All condonences to his wife and kids. A very sad day. Steve was my Idol. Celebrate Steve's life today, try not to morn his death, I think that is how he would want it.
Cheers to Steve's life, he inspired us all
