Getting a ball python wed (need answered as soon as possible)

Iam getting a ball pythong wednesday and i was wondering what all should i have i have alot of things like a tank and heat rock and heat pad and food and bedding im just wonderind what all i should have and how i should set it up the ball is only about 18 inches .. i woud like to know because im going to the pet stores today

Get a copy of the book "The ball python Manual" at the pet store. It would take us forever to type out all the info your looking for, and almost everything a newbie needs to start with is already typed out nice and neat in that book.

I second the suggestion for buying the Ball manual, and it should be available at the pet store you are going to. In addition I would say to throw that heat rock away and definitely don't put it in your tank. The best thing is to use an under tank heater UTH or a heating pad. There is a care sheet at my website that I typed up. I have put a link to it below. Most care-sheets are quite similar and there are some good ones here at kingsnake as well.
