My new snake took a mouse on Saturday night, but this morning i found it in the cage. We did not bother her or pick her up after the feeding process, what could have went wrong and what will be the best time to give her another.

Hi Cody,
Same thing happened with my new orange ghost baby. I took him to the vet & they took x-rays, blood & stool sample.
My vet wormed him, wormer in liquid food via a small tube.
I fed him the next nite as instructed & he kept it down. He hasn't regurged since.
I hope this helps.

I've never had a regurge so can't say from experience. How are your temps? Sometimes to low a temps can cause regurges, and also poor, or no, digestion. I had a colombian boa thirty odd years ago that I only kept at room temp and he developed a bactertial infection from undigested food. Good luck with it.

i have the temps at around room for the cool end and an average of 87 on the warmer end. With an infrared light at the warm end. She seems active at night and not under any stress.
make the warm side around 90degrees with the cool side being 80. Wait a week and feed again. Good luck!
