the other day i noticed by female that is being treated for coccidia(looking better) had something coming out of her nose. i originally thought it was piece of shedding skin, but when i looked closer it was coming out of her nostril- what can this be?

could be a lot of things.. it could be a piece of shed that got pushed up a tad while rubbing against something to shed out, could be a piece of food from rubbing her face in her veggies/greens, or a ton of other things. If it's mucus it could definitely be a respiratory infection and you should take her back to the vets right away. Better check your temps to make sure they are correct, if the temps are too low she will have problems which could cause the infection, espeically if she's already run down from the coccidia. I'd keep her on the warm side during treatment to help her out, but obviously be extremely careful of overheating her. Check the temps.

My dragons actually shed the skin inside thier nose. Usaully a couple days after they shed thier face a little piece of skin hangs out of the nostril. I usaully just rub it and it falls out. If it is moist then I would think it's respitory, but if it's dry and like skin well that just what it is.
