...and just as you suspected: another Peruvian. These rainbows are distinctly bolder than my BRB's. I really like them.

Practice makes perfect! Hi Linda, nice snake. I love the wet leaf look. I think you should stick with that.

Hey Linda,

I like the green as well. It makes the snake's color pop. I also like the fact that, in the picture, you can see more than the leaf. In other words, the black background. Can I make two suggestions? I'm going to anyway.

1) Get rid of the tag.

2) Do something to eliminate whatever is reflecting in the background. Maybe put the whole leaf on top of a black piece of felt and prop up a black piece of felt in the background. They sell them really cheap at Michael's Arts and crafts.

...well whether I did or not I will take that into consideration. Those pics were just taken to answer the question many responses below (I almost didn't even see it) pertaining to "Do they all look like that?". I do like the leaf ( a Micheal's special) but since I'm not educated in the flora for the region where the natural habitat occurs for the rainbows I think a water lily leaf may be like photographing a Copperhead in a tree. I need to research that a little. Ultimately I would like to have a little booth set up for pics....or experiment in Photoshop with cropping and such. Thanks for the comments, I will eventually learn. Much faster too, with all the comments and suggestions.
