Everything you will need to know can be found at africantortoise.com, or at www.sulcata-station.org. To start, 70% fiber diet, mostly grasses, LOW PROTEIN, no fruit, temp gradient is prefered if possible, 80-100, no cooler than 65-70 at night, age is hard to determine, your tort is definately a sulcata. It owuld be best if you had an outdoor enclosure for it, they thrive in natural sunlight, where they can graze. Stay away from commercial diets (pretty pet, mazuri, zoomed) they tend to have more protein than desired, but can be given in moderation. Hope this helps, go to those websites and do some research, they are very informative.
