Indiana garter

jtclark Sep 05, 2006 06:00 PM

A coworker grabbed me to check this guy out today. It was outside my office and everyone knows I love snakes. I instantly thought garter, but talked myself out of it since it seemed too thick, but in the "what kind?" forum I was told garter. It was fairly calm at first, but I was hesitant to just reach and grab it so it was fiesty by the time I did. Gotta admit this was the first time I came across a snake in the wild since I got into snakes. I kind of feel bad I was jumpy with a garter, but it was cool interacting with it. Can't wait to find a big 5' black rat and see what a little wuss I am--lol.
