I have always...

sammingo Sep 05, 2006 08:17 PM

fed my corn every seven days. In the last month or so, he hasn't pooped out his previous meal before the week has passed and I feed him his next one. I figure I'll change his feeding schedule to every ten days to make sure the first meal is fully digested but I was wondering if it's generally considered to be a bad idea to feed again before the snake has pooped or if I'm being unnecessarily cautious.

In addition:

Rest well Steve. You are loved and sorely missed. May you have the same energy and exuberance for life in the next world as you had in this one. I hope that, whatever that world may be like, it allows you to continue your relationship with the animals you loved and maybe even give you the opportunity to know them, and they you, in a way not possible in the world we know.

Its perfectly normal fo rthem not to poop every time before its feeding day. Just keep them on a realistic feeding schedual and keep them hydrated and you shoudld be fine. Just dont try to power feed :/
