Black Light??

How would a black light (Fluorescent) affect a snake. such as health, etc, during both day and/or night. Specifically a Ball Python.

Although I don't have an idea on how the ophidian eye may react, the question did come up some time ago, and the consensus by most folks here formally schooled in biology/physiology was to play safe and avoid using black lights inside an enclosure.
