WOW
Those purple extreme hypos are probably the coolest looking Hondurans.
Yes, they are great looking snakes, almost patternless hypos but I don't think it is quite classified as "extreme" hypo due to the band not light enough ( should be light grayish greenish) and the eyes have to be ruby red eyes. The postings of Mike Falcon and Adam Willich are great examples of extreme hypos.
But the one you are commenting on does not look extreme to me, at least not in the picture.

You may be right, I'm not an expert. If you go to the images page on Terry Dunham's website, there are some pictures that are labeled "extreme purplish". This one looks the same to me, but VP.
They are rather light hypos but would not be considered true extremes. Thanks though. Randy
All the factors have to come together to be classified as an extreme (i.e. the color of the bands, pure ruby red eyes, and neon orange scales). Even Randy, the breeder, has classified them as light hypos but not extreme. At any rate, great looking hatchlings nonetheless. Randy does have some great stock.

Thanks for the clarifications.................
I also find that if you take a picture of an extreme hypo using a camera with a flash turned on, the appearance or color of its body and its band is even more "neon-ish"...just like the pic below I took of this extreme yearling.
