i have an awesome spider ball python that ive had for over a year now and last night while he was shedding he must have rubbed against a log too hard and he cut open his skin. the wound isnt bleeding alot, but i would like to know if this could be dangerous to his health, and what i can do to help it.

If it isn't gaping open needing stitches you should coat the wound with an antibiotic like Polysporin to protect it while it heals. Take the rough things out of his cage until the wound is covered over.
