My female is about 3 years old and has always been a very sweet girl. However, for about the past 2 months she will strike the cage whenever she sees anything moving. She even has been striking the cage when there is no one in the room with her. I attributed it to hunger, maybe the rats I am feeding her (small) are not enough so I fed more often but even the day after feeding her she has her tail wagging (obviously luring prey) and still strikes the cage. I am unable to even reach in without her striking hard and believe me I do not want to get hit! Any advice? Anyone else have this happen?
