I was thinking about some things and I can't find them on here, and I have been doing alot of reading. But I know that the babies are born pretty dull colored. But what happens when they have a nice color and pattern at a really young age? Will it stay the same or get darker? Can the lighter pattern get lighter also? The picture below is of my first new little one and it is very young. It is a nice color( more orange red than in the picture) and it has a nice pattern. So I was wondering what to expect. How much does a newborn weigh and also how long from snout to tail are they at birth? Last question....I think! But what about their crests, when one says crowned are they born that way or as they grow the crest gets longer and fuller if they are going to be crowned? I know I will have more questions later.
