is there an updated version of "Reproductive husbandry of pythons and boas" ? are their any other titles out there besides run of the mill TFH-type publications?

Thanks for the help.

Er, well, I've found the Barrons series to be fairly solid, though written a while ago, mine are anyway. For newer books, I strongly recommend the 'herpetocultural library' put out by Advanced Vivarium Systems. Good stuff. Lenny Flank also wrote a few nice books, mainly basic intro, but nicely assembled and pleasant reading.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply. I've read most all of the AVS and barrons and agree that they are pretty solid. I am really looking forward to a more advanced publication something between Barrons and scientific journals. I really enjoyed the depth of "Reproductive Husbandry of Boas and Pythons" but would like something more updated. Many species listed in that book as "not currently bred in captivity" are mainstream herps that are frequently availible CB now. Thanks though.
